Professional Books

David has published many academic papers since 1978. He holds two fellowships with the Royal College of Podiatry in surgery and podiatric medicine, a certificate in teaching, a master's degree in Podiatric surgery, and a bachelor's degree with honours in Remedial Health Sciences. During his career, he was awarded a Winston Churchill travelling fellowship and Silver Jubilee Award to study in the USA in 1981.

 

He has taught, lectured, and examined undergraduates and postgraduates in podiatry courses at Northampton, Birmingham, Huddersfield, and Plymouth Universities and supported The Royal College of Podiatry and Institute of Podiatry with educational materials.

 

In 2014, he created his first website, ‘consultingfootpain’ – a patient/public interface covering a variety of health problems leading to self-publishing under Busypencilcase Communications. Short articles and blogs have formed the basis

of a number of his current books, which include working with professional organisations and Universities.
